It is already known to be triggered simultaneously at 11.00 on the 10th of April, in all locations authorized by the Ministry of Education for students who now X will support the admission test for Architecture 2014. For the moment, however, aspiring architects are still in suspense as to the number of places that will contend. Unlike what happened in Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine, in fact, the decree n. 85 of February 5, 2014 does not specify the breakdown between the various universities nor the total number of available places in the country for the registration to an undergraduate Master’s course directly aimed at training as an architect.

The ministry said that the exact numbers and their distribution will be announced by a special decree, to be issued later, but you already know that the total does not exceed 80 percent of the number of seats allocated to a. a. 2013/2014 (which was 8,787).


Among the certainties for the test for admission to Architecture 2014’s that the time available to conduct the test will be of 100 minutes and the questions to be answered will be 60, broken down into the following topics: general culture (4 questions) , logical reasoning (23), history (14), design and representation (10), physics and mathematics (9).

The questions will be multiple choice, with 5 possible options including the candidate must identify the only correct one. The test, whose results will be published on April 24, will award a maximum of 90 points: Each correct answer will earn 1.5 points, while it will be deducted 0.4 for each of those will be incorrect and 0 points for answers dates.

Those who participate in the admission test for Architecture in 2014 will have to prove the possession of some basic notions of general knowledge of the historical, social and institutional, and attitude to abstract logical reasoning, and mathematical language, which will be assessed by asking the candidates to read the texts and answer some questions in a manner consistent with the conditions contained therein.

As far as mathematics and physics, finally, each student will demonstrate knowledge of the following topics: numerical sets, arithmetic, algebra, Euclidean geometry, analytic geometry, probability and statistics, basic knowledge of mechanics, elementary knowledge of thermodynamics.
