Following the last university reform (DM 270/04) was established Course Master of Science in Dentistry and Dental Implants . This training cycle only, belonging to the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and provides 360 Credits (CFU) spread over a period of six years . The Degree in Dentistry and Dental Implants aims to train future dentists: specialized skills within dentistry but with a multidisciplinary vision, able to evaluate the general health status of the individual patient, and possible interactions with other disease areas.

To achieve these learning objectives, students in Dentistry and Dental Implants are called to attend lectures, practical exercises, workshops, seminars and a final internship.The early years are devoted to the basic sciences (such as chemistry, physics, histology, anatomy) to provide students with a comprehensive medical bio-culture . The course is structured according to a progressive disciplinary specialization, so in subsequent years students enrolled in the Master of Science in Dentistry and Dental Implants to be faced with characterizing materials (such as the Dental Health, dental and Pathology, Orthodontics or l ‘ Conservative Dentistry).
