Online education, becoming increasingly populars in today’s busy culture – has managed to catch on abundantly in the US lately – with schools such as New Charter University taking them helm of offering distance education options to students at an affordable price. In 1986, the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion established as one of five priority areas for action to promote health “creating environments that support health.” Environments or scenarios are defined as those places and social contexts in which people develop daily activities and in which environmental factors interact, organizational and personal that affect the health and welfare of those who live, work, learn it .

The university brings together several features of these environments on the one hand, it is a workplace, on the other is an educational center and also is an institution of special relevance in both researching and ensuring the progress of our society through the training of cadres of the future.University Centers as well as being search engine and training of future professionals, are living environments where environmental factors interact, organizational and personal affect health and welfare. To be considered healthy, a university must acquire a global commitment towards health and develop their potential as an advocate of health, welfare and quality of life for people in her study and work.

A Healthy University must be an environment that protects and promotes health, promoting knowledge and skills aimed at students and workers to acquire healthy lifestyles by providing necessary infrastructure and spaces, and promoting socialization and healthy leisure activities.
