Undergraduate Research Program

“Undergraduate Research Program” is a special program aimed at HKUST to develop interest in undergraduate research. Participating undergraduate students will be taught under the guidance of research activities.
In this program, undergraduate students and professors to be entered into a research area, and plans to submit the end of an academic report. Plans are generally three to four months. In 2009, more than 250 undergraduate students completed the program, participating professors about 90 names.

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Participating students increased rapidly in recent years, from the initial increase in 2005 to the present more than 70 more than 250, creating a lot of undergraduate research opportunities with professors. Section 30 has more than 2010 students receive full scholarships to a number of the world’s top universities such as Princeton University , Massachusetts Institute of Technology , Stanford University , Yale University , the University of California at Berkeley , UCLA , card Neijimeilong University , Duke University , etc., doctoral programs. They come from different backgrounds, but all participated in the HKUST undergraduate research projects and inspiration and motivation.
