The Lehigh University was founded in 1865 by Asa Packer, an industrial pioneer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. The aim was to combine the theory Packer, the ability to judge, to reason and self-discipline to practice. Packer’s vision, despite the time and developments, has been attempted in this university. Each year, Lehigh University welcomes students from around the world procedientes in pleasant campus of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In Barron’s guides and Peterson’s is considered one of the most competitive and prominent universities in the United States. Lehigh University combines the opportunities of a large research institution with the personal care of a private college.
Lehigh is a comprehensive university, which in its four colleges offers students several types of studies: business, humanities, arts, social sciences, engineering, etc.. There are seventy majors and more than two thousand courses. We have also developed several new academic programs in sectors with high demand, and therefore offer good job opportunities.
These courses should be noted: Information and Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Bioengineering, Integrated Business and Engineering, and Computer Science and Business. The teaching staff is dedicated to teaching activities and research are also involve students, who also can participate in programs and practices off campus. Extracurricular programs have been developed that promote teamwork, leadership and personal development. In Lehigh, a room within the residence universtitaria is much more than just a bedroom, is a place to meet new friends, study, relax, socialize, sleep and participate in interesting and educational programs. All residences are very close to classes, dining, sports centers and libraries.
You can choose between different solutions, for example, the residence of Taylor College is well known. If you prefer to live in an apartment, Lehigh provides three complexes: Trembley Park, Sayre Park Village and Campus Square. Warren Square also offers interesting opportunities. Each residence has its own characteristics, so you have to read all the descriptions to figure out what is offered. The nursing staff consists of highly competent and friendly people who generally support and assist students with any problem, any time, day and night. These are the rules of the contract to live in a college dorm at Lehigh.
