Admission:
As in most universities in the U.S., all international students who want access to the University of Loyola, need to make the Test of Language as a Foreign Español (TOEFL ) to demonstrate their proficiency in English. If English is not your first language, you need to do the test without exceptions. If you fail the exam (you need a score of 520 for admission to the University). Accommodation:
Loyola University Chicago offers five homes to first-year students:
Coffey Hall:
It has over 200 rooms for women. The building has a living room, study space, kitchen on each floor, a lab with computers, televisions and lake views. Each room has Internet access.Creighton is a traditional residence hall that serves as home for 116 new students. There is room for two or three people with private bathrooms, air conditioning, internet access, telephone and television.
Mertz Hall:
This residence has space for more than 600 men and women shared and private rooms. The building has a computer lab and is located very close to the building of the Union of Students in the center of campus.
Simpson Living and Learning Centre:
Like most homes, the Simpson Living and Learning Centre has laundry facilities, televisions, kitchens, computer lab and other necessary facilities, including a cafeteria.
Financing:
Loyola University Chicago believes that the cost of education should not be the most important factor when you are deciding which college you attend. However, it is important to have a clear idea of costs before you go. Training costs about $ 10.272each year, depending on the course and the number of years you will study. The accommodation amounts to $ 8.800 and is different depending on what type of home you want and if you include food.
