Admission:
As in other prestigious American universities, Stanford is known for being very selective in accepting admissions. This means that of the 19,000 students who apply to join each year, only 12.7% were admitted, of which only 5% are international students, or whatever it is, 119 students.
Following this line selective, only those students who demonstrate excellent academic record and excellent personal qualities will be admitted to this university.
For the income is taken into account the score on the entrance exams SAT I or ACT, and in the event that your language is not English will need a score over 257 points in TOEFL.
Financing:
This university has a policy rather restrictive in terms of funding, so they are only allowed a very small percentage of those applying for admission and financial aid.
