Accommodation:
Aberdeen has many lodging options , most within walking distance of campus. Generally, the university guarantees accommodation to all new students for at least a year in student residences, managed both by the university and private undertakings. Once approved the request of the candidates, the university will send an application form, which must be properly completed and submitted to the Student Accommodation Office within the deadlines set by each academic year. Beyond this date, the university will try to find accommodation for students behind, but does not guarantee you can do on campus.
The different residence halls have wireless Internet access in every room. Those of Crombie-Johnston Hall are located in the heart of campus and offer single rooms at full board, another alternative is to Hillhead Halls, a city formed by three student dormitories fully adapted for people with disabilities.
Those students who prefer can stay on their own in alternative accommodation. To do so, may request the student housing office a list of individuals and real estate agencies that offer places of accommodation. The rates and characteristics of different accommodation options are available on the student housing office or housing guide which annually publishes the University of Aberdeen.
