Founded in 1968 under the name of Brighton Polytechnic, after several name changes received university status in 1992, which marked the beginning of a new stage. Since then, the University of Brighton is a leading UK universities, as proved by the reports of the Quality Assurance Agency and OFSTED. In addition, the institution is proud that the national network of Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs) has included three of his research.

Located in Sussex County, on the southeast coast of England, has four campuses, located in Eastbourne, Brighton and Hastings. To be admitted to the University of Brighton international students whose native language is not English need to test the mastery of this language for the university to ensure that classes can continue properly. There are three types of requirements, depending on the studies that want to take:

The University offers international students a first-year English courses through the School of Language, Literature and Communication, some of them completely free.
