Financing:
International students applying for admission to the Kent State University must have sufficient economic resources to meet the costs of their studies for at least one year. Each student needs to demonstrate that it has an annual amount of approximately $ 23,113 ($ 20,675 in case of graduate studies), established by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service(INS). This figure includes tuition fees, accommodation, food, health insurance, books and extras typical of student life.
Costs of an academic year for postgraduate
Students must demonstrate their financial solvency by two documents: The Financial Information Worksheet, Which must be submitted with the application for admission, and a bank certificate.
Financial aid
In addition to financial support generally accorded various institutions in the countries of origin of the candidates, the Kent State University has a comprehensive program of academic merit scholarships, athletic or creative organizing its Office of Student Financial Aid, and another aimed exclusively international students who demonstrate certain merits, which will vary depending on the aid.
