Switzerland offers a dozen universities but only two in the French-speaking province, the procedures vary slightly depending therefore the language in which training is provided. 1. The realization of the registration dossier (December / January)

They are two ways to submit the application form to universities in Switzerland, each with its advantages and disadvantages. The first method is to achieve its record physical version and send it by mail. The advantage of this method is that you realize your application methodically, and you’ll have a lot fewer documents to send later.


The second method is to send the file via the website of the university, if it allows. So you download the application form in the relevant section, fill it and return it. * Two passport photos
* Your diplomas of higher education from bachelor
* Transcripts of first and final year if you just get your tray, tray only your notes and those of your former training if you have already graduated from higher education. Nothing prevents you send your notes school if they are good, it does not penalize you in any way, however.
* A cover letter explaining why you chose this university and training, but also with your qualities and experience related to your academic and professional projects.

2. The language test (November / June)

The language test is required for training in German or English, and it is up to you to take steps to pass. If it can be done after acceptance by the university conditionally, it is advisable to do this before sending your application easier for you later. For English, the TOEFL test or IELTS will be required, whereas for German you will pass the test Daf.

3. The letter of admission from the university

The response of the university will normally arrive about a month after sending your application , may be less if you send it early in the year. If you are admitted, contact the university to confirm your choice, and if you had applied to several universities, contact those you decline the offer in principle (An email is sufficient).
